LED Light Therapy Bed
LED light therapy, also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM), is a gentle and non-invasive treatment that can cover the entire body to promote tissue repair, enhance blood circulation, and reduce inflammation. The LED light therapy bed contains low red, green, and blue light, along with near-infrared light, to stimulate cellular activity in the body.
Benefits of LED Lights
Red LED light stimulates collagen production to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while helping to decrease inflammation and support wound and scar healing. It promotes smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.
Green LED light targets melanocytes responsible for pigmentation and melanin production. It helps promote a more even skin tone while reducing redness and irritation for a clearer complexion.
Blue LED light supports skin repair by targeting acne-causing bacteria and regulating cellular activity to reduce inflammation and breakouts
Near-Infrared (NIR) light penetrates deeper into the tissues to promote regeneration of damaged cells. It is beneficial for individuals with chronic inflammation and musculoskeletal conditions (Ferraresi et al., 2016), enhances athletic performance, and stimulates adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production to accelerate cellular repair and improve overall skin health
FAQ
Is LED light therapy harmful?
LED light therapy does not produce any UV light, which means it won’t cause burning or irritation to the skin. It does not adversely affect the eyes during treatment. However, we recommend wearing red light therapy glasses if you have sensitivity in your eyes. Our LED light bed is medical-grade. Our system follows the guidelines and safety protocols for the use of the LED light bed. Prior to treatment, we conduct a thorough medical assessment and discuss the treatment plan based on your specific needs and conditions.
How long does treatment take, and when will I see the result?
Treatment sessions vary depending on the customized plan and goals discussed with the medical provider after the assessment and first consultation. A typical treatment session would take 20-30 minutes per session. Results can be seenin 1 to 2 weeks of consistent treatment and follow-up for the treatment plans. Individuals with musculoskeletal or chronic inflammatory conditions may require longer treatment sessions for this treatment
Consideration and side effects
Temporary skin redness and warmth after treatment can be seen. Prior to treatment, we ensure that the wavelength settings and time are appropriate for the treatment plan and body condition to lessen the cause of irritation due to exposure.
